The IPTV Smarters desktop app gives you the same experience as the TV apps — install, log in with Xtream Codes, watch.
Download IPTV Smarters for Windows or macOS from the developer’s official website (avoid third-party download portals).
Run the installer and open the app. On macOS you may need to confirm the install under System Settings → Privacy & Security the first time.
Choose “Login with Xtream Codes API”.
Enter any profile name, then the Server URL, Username and Password from your welcome email — copy-paste to keep them exact.
Confirm and let the app download your channel list and guide; the first sync can take a minute.
Open Live TV, Movies or Series and press play — fullscreen with a double-click.
Unsigned installers trigger SmartScreen/Gatekeeper warnings. Only proceed when you downloaded directly from the developer’s official site — if you got it anywhere else, delete it and re-download from the source.
Re-check the Server URL, Username and Password for typos and trailing spaces (they sneak in when copying). Confirm your subscription is active.
Toggle hardware acceleration in the player settings (on for modern machines, off for very old GPUs), close other bandwidth-heavy apps, and prefer a wired connection.
