Set up Pioneer IPTV on a Samsung or LG TV

Smart-TV players work a little differently: you activate the app with your TV’s device ID on its website, then your playlist loads on the TV. Ten minutes, tops.

  1. 1

Open your TV’s app store (Smart Hub on Samsung, LG Content Store on LG) and install Smart IPTV or IBO Player.

  2. 2

Launch the app. It shows a device ID / MAC address on screen — keep that screen open.

  3. 3

On your phone or computer, open the app’s own activation website (shown on the same screen) and enter that device ID exactly.

  4. 4

Paste the M3U playlist link from your Pioneer IPTV welcome email into the activation form and save.

  5. 5

Back on the TV, fully close and reopen the app — your channels and guide load.

Smart TV troubleshooting

The app says “playlist not found”

Re-check the device ID you entered on the activation site against what the TV shows, and confirm the M3U link was pasted complete, with no spaces. Then restart the app.

Channels disappeared after a free trial

The app’s own trial period likely ended — its one-time activation fee is due to the app developer. Your Pioneer IPTV subscription itself is separate and stays active.

Streams buffer on the TV

Switch the TV to a wired connection or 5 GHz Wi-Fi, and restart the TV (not just the app) to clear its memory. Lower the stream quality in the app if your line is slow.
